We pretty much always want the Roots Reggae sound, but blend in everything else with it. It’s kind of hard for me to describe RastaMiles, I love it and whether we have 100 or 1,000,000 fans, we will still be playing and makin the same music. Lately as time has gone by and I have grown to learn more stuff, the lyrics part of our music has started to become more “revolutionary” in a sense. We have songs from smoking herb, to girls, to loving your fellow man. But the main message is in our name, RastaMiles. The main message, is the message of the Bible, the message of Rastafari. So that is the sense where it’s more revolutionary. We have recognized that the music is very important and has to sound good, but it’s really more about the lyrics.
